Shaun's Bowling Tournaments was founded in 2003 by Shaun Ciesielski at AMF Classic Lanes in South Chicago Heights, IL. In early 2004, the tournaments moved to Brunswick Zone in Homewood, IL. In the Fall of 2005 they moved to Brunswick Zone (Arena Lanes) in Oak Lawn, IL. In May 2007 we moved to Stardust Bowl III in Dyer, IN. That lasted for 7+ years. As of September 2014, The current location of Shaun's Tournaments is Inman's Bowling & Recreation Center in Valparaiso, IN.
Shaun takes pride in the quality of tournaments he runs. You will see how well these events are run and thought out. Their are tournaments for all types of bowlers. Scratch events like King of the Hill to attract the higher average bowler who want the ultimate competition. Their are also events like with a handicap system that help the average bowler compete.
We run events to test bowlers skills and compete on challenging oil patterns, mostly created by Shaun Ciesielski himself. We make it as fair as possible in each tournament with the selected oil pattern. If multiple squads, each squad will get the same fresh shot as all the other squads. No funny business altering oil patterns once a tournament begins.
Come see how smooth and professionally these tournaments are run. The systems implemented are thought out and planned for a very long time by a bowler for the bowler. You will understand why Shaun is known as the "King of Tournament"
